mixed media mosaic at the Finger Lakes Reuse Center in downtown Ithaca. It was part of a project with 5 artists installations reflecting themes of reuse impacts that connect to the United Nations sustainable development goals. Over the course of two years I designed, planned and collected a variety of materials to incorporate into it. I collected stones and driftwood along the shores of Cayuga lake, scraps of barn wood, tools, circuit boards and a variety of small discarded objects which I used within little pockets of the overall piece to create tiny cubbies of nostalgia. The piece as a whole when one steps back shows the landscape of a great waterfall.
